What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is when a person helps you to be heard.

Advocacy is working together to make sure people listen to your views.

Advocacy believes it is your voice that is important.  This means only you tell your advocate what to do.

An Advocate is a person who is trained to support you to make your voice and your views heard.

Advocacy is free.  It will cost you nothing.
